The kitchen extension is progressing well! The increased space will mean that our cooking space is more efficient and streamlined. I’m really looking forward to cooking in there.
The new developments to the seating area are also looking good! A group of 55 teachers last weekend, enjoying Teacher Appreciation Day made the most of the space, enjoyed the food and had a lot of fun. It was great to host the event.
A busy Wednesday with a lot of lunch deliveries to Vieux Fort. Lookout for the new lunch menu coming.
We were delighted to welcome an American couple to dinner at the weekend. Great compliments about the Jerk Chicken {with my own recipe sauce} and it was nice to have someone enjoy the fish fresh from the market in the morning.
Asking people to pick their dishes the day before means that we can get the fish absolutely fresh, and have it cooked in perfect time for the booking. We try never to keep people waiting.
Our American guests enjoyed the food so much they were back two days later. I don’t think there can be a better compliment than that!
